Why Cats Are Different
A cat is an obligate carnivore.
Cats cannot synthesise taurine. They cannot use plant protein the way dogs can. They have almost no thirst drive — hydration must come from food. These are not preferences. They are biological constraints that Purr-o-Meals is built around.

Taurine is essential for heart function, vision, and reproduction in cats. They cannot synthesise it at all. Purr-o-Meals provides taurine from whole chicken heart and fish — not synthetic taurine added back after heat destroyed it.

How To Serve
Moist. Warm. Every meal.
Cats prefer food at body temperature (37–38°C). Cold food from the fridge is often rejected — not pickiness, but biology. Warm water solves this.

Measure 30–40g
Per meal. Most adult cats (3–5kg) need 60–80g dry per day, split into 2–3 meals. Adjust to body weight and condition.

Add 60–90ml warm water
37°C water. The ratio is approximately 2–3× water to dry food by weight. More water = more hydration = better kidney support.

Wait 3 minutes
The food expands to approximately 3× its dry weight. Stir gently. Texture should be moist and uniform.

Warm food is more aromatic and triggers appetite better. Picky cats almost always accept it. Discard uneaten food within 30 minutes.
